Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to the most common questions about TrustNeva.

What is TrustNeva?

A non-intrusive check of a public website for common security, technical and cookie/GDPR signals, explained in plain language.

Is TrustNeva a penetration test?

No. We do not try to break into websites, exploit vulnerabilities or log in to private areas.

Will the assessment change or slow down my website?

No. We make ordinary public web requests at a controlled rate, similar to a visitor browsing the site.

Why do I need to verify my domain?

We only assess websites authorised by the owner or another permitted person. Verification confirms that you control the domain.

What do you check?

HTTPS/TLS, security headers, publicly exposed files and metadata, visible CMS/plugin indicators, and selected cookie and privacy signals.

Do you test external websites linked from my site?

We may identify outbound links, but the external destination websites are not fetched or tested as part of your assessment.

Do you present cached results as fresh?

No. Reports show the measurement time, and cached results are not presented as a new assessment.

Is this legal advice or a compliance certificate?

No. TrustNeva can report public evidence relevant to cookie or GDPR review, but it is not legal advice or a certification.

Can I reassess my website later?

Yes. You can order another assessment when needed. Automated recurring scheduling will only be offered when it is actually available in the product.

Who is TrustNeva for?

Primarily small and medium businesses, e-commerce sites and organisations that want a clear view of their public website without commissioning a full penetration test.
